E選項it代替growth不會有後面動作did
it已經代替growth這樣what就沒有東西替代
還有時間since1990時間副詞是在修飾主詞擺在主詞動詞中間不好

因為since的位置,(C)(D)(E)的句意跟(A)(B)不同.

(C)(D)(E): 1990以來的全球經濟成長超越自...以來的10000年.

這題其實很複雜,考很多:
1.代名詞 (it vs that)
2.次要結構(插句)
3.修飾位置-- since
4.時態
5.冠詞
6.when作關係代名詞的用法 or 子句作用為時間名詞

做題時,第一個面臨的抉擇是選(A)(B)還是(C)(D)(E),假設(A)對,(C)(D)(E)改變句意就不用看了. (B)把from...放到次要結構,而且 from beginning of agriculture <> from when agriculture began 也是改變句意.
但是(A)對不對? 文法沒有問題,掙扎在句意"農業的初期"vs"有農業開始"哪個才合理?
如果覺得(A)不完美,不幸站到(C)(D)(E)這邊,
(C)容易排除:which had been 不簡潔,過去完成式跟現在式搭不上, 10000 years 限定 from...to... 沒加定冠詞
陷入(D)(E)要選哪個?選了也都不是答案...很難吧!

不知這題除了改變句意可以選到(A)之外,有沒有破綻排除其他選項?

記得以前老莫有用the這限定用法來刪過答案

基於不是任何一個10000年都是from the beginning of agriculture to 1950

10000年前方沒有加the 的(B)(C)(D)可以刪除~~ 參考看看，至少可作為輔助條件

另外 ，CDE我看到since + exceeds就沒有再往下看了，由於各位沒有提到，我這樣的思維是不是有問題？

這限定vs非限定的應用還真是法力無邊,不止在關係代名詞that/which上,看來見到逗點要提高警覺了.
莫伯伯的話的確受用,把(B)(D)的次要結構拿掉,那10000年就憑讀者自己想了!(次要結構去掉不能影響讀者對句意的理解,否則要放主要結構;這就是為什麼主要結構變成次要結構會改變句意了.)

仔細用力的看,發現了! (D)(E) what it... 文法錯了.
1.關係代名詞 what = growth that ,沒有 it 出現的餘地 (that 是主格).
2.(E) did 代替哪個動詞?

難不成 from when這種用法是可以的

還有關於since.. exceed 我個人是覺得無法馬上判斷這是錯的..文法上看起來是沒錯的.....得看句意.......但since 1990 exceeds很怪-->"自從1990年地"超過
C, D, E 殺的好(y)

後來看C, D, E選項，覺得很好笑 "成長" 要超越自己過去10000的成長....
成長要超越自己的成長....哈哈哈......我怎麼當初會沒看出這個解釋勒~~ ~ 我瘋了~

我也是覺得 (C) (D) (E) exceed 應該用完成式.
