Ans: D

看到 Unlike 比較要同類,很高興的去掉 (A) (B) (C).然後就陷入苦思. (D) (E) 好像都對,怎麼選?

你抄錯答案拉，其他網路的答案是E沒錯
可是老師在課堂上有說明原本GWD的答案是錯的
應該是D才對

我剛上過有印象，還對了一次

P.S 莫伯伯答錯的機率遠比GWD低多了，你上他解答GWD的題目的時候就知道了

關於dibert8說的這一點，週三上課的時候我也有問老師，
be scheduled to 並不是一個錯誤的用法
這是慣用語
E選 that 後面那一串是用來修飾"day"...
可是既然如此，D選用的scheduled, 一個副詞搞定
就簡潔的多，所以要選D

之前的討論有人說(E)的that指the last day , they指代不清(不知是指packages或workers), 可以把莫老的解釋擺上來看看嗎 ;-$

我覺得they還不至於指代不清，因為人不可能被be scheduled to collect了
所以還是句意

我不認為(D)與(E)之間的決選是簡潔，因為雖然(D)的their last scheduled day比(E)的the last day that they are scheduled簡潔，但是(E)的to也比(D)的in order to簡潔啊，總不能就很暴力地算字數吧。

我認為(D)與(E)之間的決選是句意。(D)是要求worker待到預定的最後一天以領錢，(E)是要求worker待到預定領錢的最後一天(天天在領錢？)，改變了原來的句意。

大原則是比較要同類,至於數量很難講出個規則,只能說:看句意,選最佳的敘述.

我覺得要從 require 來看耶
在which 這個關代子句裡， require 是主要動詞，collect是次要動詞，作require的動作是為了要 collect，
若選e的話，就變成作scheduled 是為了要collect，這時collect 就不是 which 子句裡的次要動詞，而是
that 子句的次要動詞了
