而且正確答案(C)用了片語 as was the case (意指"常有的事"), 而選項(E)用the case 意思不對

不好意思，請問一下, E選用the case with...意思不對的差異是? 是因為同位語造成修飾的混淆嗎?

the case 這樣用就會看起來像同位語, 可是又無法指出the case 到底是跟誰同位

它想表達as was the case 的意思, 可是卻亂用片語
