(a)錯在 (其實其它的選項都是錯一樣的)

平衡對稱 ........ but unlike men of science, 應要對應 women of science .........
(a)中的"their female counterparts"是去對應第一句 Like their male counterpart，而不是but 之後的~所以不對稱囉！

如果還是不確定，把句意體會一下是最徹底的解決方式

亦或是
A:句意錯....因their只可代women scientists...造成句意錯.....呢?

their可代men of science, 也可代women scientists <== 我認為應該是這個問題, 前面用their指代women, 後面也可以造成歧意

這題我作對, 我是根據絕對平衡法則, 選出E.

但是對於A選項, 不免也有懷疑. 但唯一的想法就是這樣了

若是 (A) 就無法平衡了
因為 unlike A, B verb ... A, B要平衡
所以，men of science ≠ their female counterpart

而 (E) 的 men of science = women of science
