又到了申請旺季
我們很樂意回答大家關於Purdue (Krannert)的相關問題

Purdue的MBA和其他的B-school一樣，課業壓力相當的重，networking相當重要
不一樣的是:
1. 中西部的地理位置，這裡的人對國際學生相當友善
2. 小班制教學(平均一班五十人)，讓你有充分的機會participate，這是許多學校沒有的
3. 著重分析數理能力，Purdue向來以ops, supply chain著稱，重視quant 自然不在話下，不同的是，計算本身不是重點，如何利用軟體，解讀並且分析output才是focus 所在
4. 工作上，international student因為VISA問題，在找工作上會遇到比較多阻礙，這應該是普遍的常態。但是只要用心，任何事情都有可能
ex: 來美國不到四個月的我，目前已經找到明年summer internship (ps:我沒有綠卡，是個和大多數人一樣的道地台灣人)

以上是我想到一般人比較關心的幾點問題，如果有任何問題，我們很樂意回答

personal idea:
"character-building event" does not always mean a dilemma or difficulty. The key is to describe a situition first and then focus on how making you different.

Purdue的推薦信說一定要有company letterhead然後用郵寄的
所以意思是說一定要用手寫嗎？
還是用電腦打字印出來簽名也可以？只要有letterhead就好？
要是只能用手寫的，我主管連睡覺時間都沒有，我很不好意思請他用手寫...

You could print the recommendation letter and request your boss to sign it.

Hi, Thank you for sharing.
Here I would like to know the minimum TOEFL(iBT) score required by Purdue since I cna't find the information from the web page.
Does Purdue offer conditional admission and request student to attend ESL program ?(Embarrassed : my toefl score is poor (81))

For the conditional offer....to be honest, I have never heard about this stuff.
First, I still suggest you keep working on your TOEFL. If you can get good grades on GMAT, I dont think TOEFL is that hard for you.

Second, if you have any question about application stardard, I will suggest you writing an email to admission office.
