確實是有need + Ving的題型
只是當受詞為Ving時含有被動的意思
need +Ving=need to be Ved
所以並不是一定need 只能+V

那後面的USE不是應該改成USEING嗎.

因為這裡的use當名詞使用,所以可採for use
若是use當動詞的話,這裡可改成to be used
因為後面跟了一個by individuals

我想問的是選項C for 後面的use
要怎麼判斷use是當名詞還是動詞..

"for" could be 1.(prep.) + noun / V-ing
2.(conj.) + S + V

"use" could be 1.(v) 2.(n)

thus if "use" is a verb., then use should be "using" and "for" is a perp.

On the other hand if "use" is noun then "for" is conj. ,there should be a

verb follow "use"
