OG的解釋 Choice C preserves parallelism but is wordy, and its has no logical reference.
its 為什麼不是指代前面 the Ojibwa society ？
另外發現一點除了正確的A選項 in the distribution and consumption of those resources外其他選項都沒有指定of those resources，可以用這點刪除其他選項嗎？ 8-)

首先先看句意到底什麼是distribution和consumption的對象?
依照(A)正確答案來說, 分配和消費的對象是” those resources”
所以(C) 中用its就奇怪了, 因為its已經出現過了, 指的是the Ojibwa society’s
所以不能說是the Ojibwa society’s distribution and consumption,
所以OG說its沒有clear referent, 因為不知道指誰?

另外 of those resources 的部分, 我們看起來的確只有(A)正確的定義分配和消費的對象
但OG解答沒有說(B)(D)(E) their, them 或是(C)they 的錯誤
所以只好猜想ETS會怎麼想, ETS可能認為可以指its resources吧~~因為是複數對複數
不會像(C) its 單數, 所以被提出來說no clear referent吧

所以, 本題我是贊成用OG的解法: 平衡
(B)(D)(E)違反平衡, 造成修飾對象錯誤(B)(D)或是邏輯錯誤(E)

提出我的看法

ets這邊說的是its沒有"logic referent"，而不是沒有referent，用its的話，沒辦法指代應該要指代的distribution and comsumption，反而去指代到了society，這是illogical

只有A清楚的指代出來誰的distribution and consumption

個人覺得翻成中文看看是否比較容易理解

(A)定義"那些資源"分配及消費的權利和義務
"那些資源"=the Ojibwa society's resources
=>資源的分配及消費=>合理=>正確

(C)定義"它的"分配及消費的權利和義務
"它的"=the Ojibwa society's
=>社會的分配及消費=>怪怪的不及資源分配具體=>消除

這裡A的those應該不是指代its resources
要不然為何後面又來個resources=> "its resources" resources

those可以當adj.
所以這邊應該是用來形容那些資源

非劃線部份其實已經決定了動詞平衡的結構: determined..., provided..., and (...); 只有 (A) 可以選.
(D) (E) 以平衡的觀點去看,並不符合語法原則.
(D) whose 找不到平衡,不知道修飾哪個 (OG 說修飾 resources, 但是以平衡來看,實在看不出修飾啥)
(E) 像是另起一句,可是前面句子還沒完哪!(沒見到終結的 and)

有人可以解釋一下 (D)(E)

看得不是很懂

我試著說說看我的想法，或許不清楚，希望大家體諒

D) whose 是只前面所指帶的 resources 所以whose 所帶出來的子句中的rights and obligations是屬於 resources 中的一部份，所以OG裡的解釋才會說，錯誤的歸類。
E) rights and obligations 應該是被定義的，但是，在E選項中，你可以看到他們是藉由權利和義務去定義資源的分配。前後的因果錯誤了
