就文法上
1.problem-solving修飾abilities-->名詞修飾名詞-->可以成立,例如a woman doctor
2.considerably修飾problem-solving?或修飾abilities?-->副詞修飾名詞-->都無法成立
3.conciderable與problem-solving共同修飾abilities-->成立,如a young woman doctor

就語意上
1.considerably problem-solving abilities-->相當地解決問題的能力-->怪怪的
2.considerable problem-solving abilities-->相當多(大)的解決問題的能力-->合理

From my point, I think that "considerably" (副詞) aslo can 修飾 "have" (Verb). Why not?

就語意上
相當有解決問題的能力!

我覺得considerably如果要解釋成修飾have放的位置不太對..如果要修飾Have的話..應該要把considerably放在Have 前面..變成the higher animals also considerably have problem-solving abilities.
不知道這樣解釋對不對..看有沒有其他好心人幫忙解釋一下吧^^"

considerably修飾have-->相當有解決問題的能力,就語意上是合理的,
但在文法上,have是及物動詞,在及物動詞和受詞之間硬插入副詞,會造成不當介入
