我想請問答案A是否較佳, 因為我認為動詞 leak的主詞應該是barge, 例如我查到的句子 : The car is leaking oil. 或 The faucet is leaking. 感覺上應該是船漏了油, 而不是油自己漏...

但A的致命傷在後面的while causing。
表示使得整句話的意思變成：
當在造成海岸的污染時，駁船觸礁漏油了。

leaking可以修飾逗點前面的名詞，也可以修飾整句、或是主句主詞。
在沒有更好答案的前提下，這樣改是對的。

是with its cargo of 750,000 gallons leaking into the ocean, and it polluted 的leaking 表示主動溢出而錯嗎?????

我對with表伴隨的片語 很混淆

錯誤2.
, and it polluted用法錯誤，因為不是cargo本身polluted海灘，而是cargo leak into the ocean這件事polluted海灘，所以必須用現在分詞修飾

D本身 it leaked its cargo~~ and caused
船自己不會洩cargo
船也沒引起汙染
引起汙染的應該是cargo的油
