第一次PO文...有錯誤麻煩大家指正囉~
這一題我也是A跟E在選,但是後來覺得E對的原因,是因為原文主要是在討論增加converter對排放廢棄的影響,答案E中包含此關鍵字,比較起來會比較effective..
另外,答案A另一個不妥的原因,是1993年之前製造的車子,並不一定都沒裝converter..

思路不正確的地方還麻煩各位高手指正囉！

為何（E）可以呢？
（E）的句意感覺很怪？
是說到首都旅行的車子都有裝catalytic converters，但因為待在首都的時間太短而導致該設備未達到可以發生作用的溫度？
或是有人可以幫我在解釋句意 謝謝

我本來是選 A -more of the cars in Donia's capital city were made before 1993 than after 1993.

但是最後一直看文章這句話…
nitrogen dioxide emissions there have showed only an insignificant decline since 1993.
我就支持 E 了。
因為選A 就表示車中並沒有catalytic converters這個裝置，那就不符合文中說的only an insignificant dcline, 因為還是有emissions下降，只是不多。
而E，是表示車中有catalytic converters，只是大部份的車都來不及達到反應。

這樣可以嗎？請指導…

可是後來再仔細看看...題目有說"proportion of news cars in Capital has always been high"....是因為這樣讓主要以舊車為推論重點的D選項缺乏說服力嗎?

可是後來再仔細看看...題目有說"proportion of news cars in Capital has always been high"....是因為這樣讓主要以舊車為推論重點的D選項缺乏說服力嗎?

D國(的人)與D國首(的人)都是二個不同的對象,這會使你的推論出問題,所以選項D被排除!
