我想問解答上的解釋The adverb correspondingly is incorrectly and ambiguously used這是說adverb correspondingly可以向前修飾unaccompanied也可以 像後修飾increases in sales所以才說ambiguously?

還有(D)Correspondingly increased sales is awkward and unclear

有人說 unclear是指 increased sales只能知道整體銷售增加

increases in sales清楚表示後來增加的那部份 我還是不懂差在哪裡

請問awkward是啥意思?

(A) 的 correspondingly 比較可能修飾前面的動詞,這樣造成不知道 unaccompanied correspondingly 對應的是什麼, i.e. 沒頭沒腦就來個 correspondingly 所以 ambiguous, 語意邏輯不合理(原因是修飾對象錯誤),所以 incorrect.

(D) 錯的和 (A) 類似:"相應增加的銷售"---跟什麼相應增加? (i.e. 再次沒頭沒腦就來個 correspondingly) 所以 unclear.
correspondingly increased sales 形成接續的修飾結構,不簡潔 (i.e. 結巴): correspondingly increased; increased sales, 所以 awkward.

increases in sales "在銷售上的增加"(沒有講前後啊!)
