如果A是正確答案的話，那只有解決Subject-Verb agreement的問題
devastation and enslavement應該是以and連接2種物品，表示單一概念
例：
Slow and steady wins the race
Bread and butter is essential for our breakfast
就是二種物合起來算一種的概念

沒想到這文法觀念也變成考點,
我考這題的話一定選E,
B錯人是被殺才對要用被動were decimated
